According to a former aide of South Korea’s late president Kim Dae-jung, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is currrently in a coma and his younger sister Kim Yo-jong will be ruling the nation in his place.
Chang Song-min – who served Kim Dae-jung as a political affairs secretary and as head of the state affairs monitoring office – expressed that no North Korean leader would entrust his authority to another unless he was too sick.
“I assess him to be in a coma, but his life has not ended,” he told the media. “A complete succession structure has not been formed, so Kim Yo-jong is being brought to the fore as the vacuum cannot be maintained for a prolonged period.”
Kim has only been seen in public a few times this year after rumors spread that he was clinging to life in April due to a heart operation failure.
