Oscar-winning composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, 71, died March 28, 2023. The eclectic Japanese composer known for the scores for Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence and The Last Emperor passed away following a long battle with cancer. His passing was announced April 2. Twenty Five Twenty One was one of the biggest dramas of 2022. I had it on my list for some time, and finally got around to it. It started slow for me, and then around episode 5 it became a binge.
