Following rumors the pair was headed toward divorce, actress Son Ye Jin and actor Hyun Bin opted to take legal action against those spreading the false information.
Earlier in March, the YouTube channel 1 Minute Issue (1ė¶ģ“ģ) posted a video titled āHyun Bin and Son Ye Jin Divorced After 6 Months of Marriage.ā In the now-deleted video, it was alleged Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin officially divorced after six months of marriage, citing claims of overseas illegal gambling on Hyun Binās part. However, Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin have been married since March 2022, much longer than six months! There is also no proof of alleged illegal gambling.
VAST Entertainment and MSTeam Entertainment, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jinās respective agencies, announced the actorsā plans to file a lawsuit against the YouTube channel.
ā[The claims are] groundless. It is fake news. We are constantly monitoring the rumors. We plan to take legal action after an internal review,ā VAST Entertainment said.
āThis is obviously fake news,ā MSTeam said. āWe are constantly monitoring [the situation] internally, and we have already requested YouTube to delete the video. We will take strong measures, and we also plan to take legal action in relation to the content [of the video].ā
Meanwhile, back in November 2022, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin welcomed their first child, a son. They will be married a year March 31!
