Few artists have transformed the global concert industry like BTS. From small venues during their rookie years to sold-out stadiums across multiple continents, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook built a touring legacy defined by storytelling, emotional connection, and explosive live performances. After a four-year hiatus due to military service, BTS officially reunited in 2026 for the massive ARIRANG World Tour, which is set to run until March 2027.
A Look Back at BTS’s Touring Evolution
1. The Red Bullet Tour (2014-2015)
BTS’s first major concert series introduced their aggressive hip-hop sound and rebellious school-era identity. The tour reached Asia, Australia, North America, and South America, laying the foundation for their global rise.
2. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage (2015-2016)
Centered around youth, friendship, and uncertainty, the HYYH era elevated BTS’s emotional storytelling and strengthened their connection with fans worldwide.

Inspired by themes of temptation, growth, and self-discovery, The Wings Tour marked BTS’s transition into a true global arena act.

With over two million attendees worldwide, this era became a cultural phenomenon. Stadium shows, powerful visuals, and messages of self-love solidified BTS as global superstars.
5. Permission to Dance on Stage (2021-2022)
Held during the pandemic era, these hybrid concerts symbolized resilience, celebration, and reunion between BTS and ARMY.
Solo Tours during the Hiatus Era (2023-2025)
While BTS paused group activities during military enlistment, several members expanded their artistic identities through solo performances and world tours. These solo tours kept BTS’s global presence active throughout the hiatus and helped shape the artistic maturity that would later define the ARIRANG reunion era.
1. Suga – Agust D D-Day Tour (2023)
Suga became the first BTS member to launch a solo world tour with the Agust D D-Day Tour in 2023, delivering raw and deeply personal performances inspired by his D-Day album.
2. J-Hope – Hope on the Stage Tour (2025)
J-Hope followed with the Hope on the Stage Tour in 2025, showcasing his energetic stage presence, dynamic choreography, and genre-blending solo catalog.
3. Jin – RunSeokjin Ep. Tour (2025)
Jin later embarked on the RunSeokjin Ep. Tour in 2025, reconnecting with fans through a more intimate and emotional concert experience after completing military service.
Current World Tour – The “ARIRANG” World Tour (2026-2027)
Launching in April 2026 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, the ARIRANG World Tour marked BTS’s long-awaited full-group comeback. So far, the tour has confirmed the group’s unmatched global influence despite years away from the stage, mainly due to mandatory military responsibilities.
Spanning Asia, North America, Europe, and Latin America, The ARIRANG era proves BTS’ shift beyond the boundaries of K-pop, evolving into one of the defining live acts of their generation. The tour is set to run until March 2027 with more details to be announced.
