SB19 is a Filipino boy band formed by ShowBT Philippines, a subsidiary of ShowBT Group (South Korea). They are the first Filipino idol group trained under the K-pop system, and they debuted in 2018. The group’s name, SB19, stands for “Sound Break 19”, symbolizing their goal of breaking into the music scene and making a difference globally while representing the Philippines (country code +63 → 6 + 3 = 9) and South Korea (country code +82 → 8 – 2 = 6).

SB19 is known for their vocal prowess, intricate choreography, emotional songwriting, and national pride. The group gained viral attention with their dance practice video for “Go Up,” leading to their mainstream breakthrough.
