Rapper Yoon Byung Ho, also known as Bully Da Ba$tard, has been given an additional jail term for using drugs while in detention.
Yoon Byung Ho has been in detention while awaiting a trial for drug use charges. The rapper was convicted in 2022 for methamphetamine and marijuana use at his home. The charges also included the purchase of fentanyl and an attempt to purchase methamphetamine. As a result, Byung Ho was given a 7-year imprisonment in December 2023.
While in detention before the conviction, Byung Ho was allegedly involved in another drug incident. In August 2022, the rapper was reported to have used psychoactive drugs including zolpidem, diazepam, and lorazepam while at Incheon Detention Center. Although Byung Ho tried defending himself terming the incident as a âspiking caseâ, the court brushed his defense citing the lack of a solid explanation for drug traces found during his urine test.
On October 25, the âHigh School Rapper 2′ and ‘Show Me the Moneyâ contestant was given an 8-month imprisonment and a 2-year parole. Suwon District Court also gave the rapper an additional 40 hours of drug prevention education. The judge highlighted that despite Byung Hoâs severe action of using drugs while in detention, the rapper had no prior convictions concerning similar crimes thus the fair sentencing.
