The renowned actress Moon Geun Young has revealed that she is recovering from a rare syndrome.
Through an Instagram post, Moon shared that she had been fighting acute compartment syndrome, which she was treated for in 2017. The syndrome involves pressure building up in muscle compartments causing impaired blood circulation and tissue function. This impairment could cause nerve or muscle damage if untreated.
In the Instagram post, Moon shared that she is on the road to recovery, having undergone some surgeries during the 2017 treatment. Moon showed gratitude for the overwhelming and genuine concern that people showed about her health.
Moon highlighted that although she might have gained some weight, she is currently working on it while still maintaining her health. Moon is expected to appear in the incoming āHellbound 2ā Netflix series whose premier is scheduled for October 25.
