The long-awaited purple era has officially arrived. In a move that has sent shockwaves through the global music industry, BIGHIT MUSIC and Netflix have confirmed a historic partnership to livestream BTSâs grand return to the stage. On March 21, 2026, the worldâs biggest group will perform “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG”âa global event broadcasting live to over 190 countries.
Set against the majestic backdrop of Gwanghwamun Square and the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, this performance marks the first time all seven members will stand together on stage since their military hiatus. The timing is poetic; the concert serves as the grand reveal for their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, which drops just one day prior. By choosing “Arirang”âthe definitive folk anthem of Koreaâas their theme, BTS is signaling a triumphant return to their cultural roots while embracing a sophisticated new creative chapter.
For the global ARMY, the logistics are a dream. The stream kicks off at 8:00 PM KST (7:00 AM ET / 4:00 AM PT). Following the live spectacle, Netflix will deepen the experience on March 27 with the premiere of BTS: The Return, a raw, behind-the-scenes documentary capturing the groupâs journey from discharge to their emotional reunion.
