For the seventh consecutive year, Kcrush America invites you, our readers, to vote for our year-end superlatives. We love to hear from our readers, and we enjoy seeing who you view as the best each year. The past two years have yielded several surprises in each category, so we expect much of the same this year!
For 2023, soloists brought their A-games, especially those artists from idol groups who showed us what they’re made of away from their ensembles. Some of the top nominees include BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, BTS’ Suga (Agust D) and Jimin, and OMG’s Jini for their impressive solo work, while perennial voting favorites Eric Nam, Sunmi, KangDaniel, Shaun, and Jackson Wang have a tough climb ahead of them.
On the idol group side, (G)I-dle, Dreamcatcher, ATEEZ, Stray Kids, EPIK HIGH, and SHINee continue to shine, proving yearly that they’ll always be contenders. However, new school powerhouses like Le Sserafim, New Jeans, and the surprising-yet-surprisingly-dysfunctional Fifty-Fifty aim to knock previous generations from their podiums in our polls.
If the brewing drama in the K-Pop polls isn’t enough, you can, of course, vote for your favorite K-Dramas. Will Tale of the Nine-Tailed: 1938 and Mask Girl be worthy winners, or will there be a different King of the Land?
From December 13, 2023 to January 13, 2024, let your voices be heard! We can’t wait to see who your winners are this year!
