Upcoming Netflix Spring Drama – “Sold Out on You”

Starting this April, K-drama fans can look forward to a refreshing blend of rural charm and high-stakes corporate romance with the premiere of “Sold Out on You”. Scheduled to debut on April 22, 2026, this 12-episode series will air on SBS and stream globally on Netflix. Based on a popular webtoon, the story follows two workaholics who are highly successful in their professional lives but completely neglectful of their personal well-being, eventually finding “healing” through an unexpected connection.

The plot centers on Matthew Lee, played by Ahn Hyo-seop, a man leading a triple life as a meticulous village farmer, a cosmetics CEO, and a lead researcher. He is the guardian of a rare “miracle ingredient” that he cultivates with extreme care. His path crosses with Dam Ye-jin, portrayed by rising star Chae Won-bin, a top-tier home shopping host famous for her “sold out” streaks. Despite her professional fame, Ye-jin suffers from chronic insomnia, and her relentless pursuit of Matthew to secure a contract for his ingredients sets the stage for a bickering, heart-fluttering relationship.

The supporting cast adds significant star power to the production. Kim Bum makes a highly anticipated return to the romantic comedy genre as Seo Eric, a charming executive director of a French cosmetics brand who becomes a rival in a corporate succession race. Additionally, veteran actress Go Doo-shim joins the cast as an influential figure in the rural village setting. This mix of established icons and fresh talent is expected to bring a rich emotional depth to the series.

Directed by Ahn Jong-yeon and written by Jin Seung-hee, “Sold Out on You” aims to capture the “enemies-to-lovers” trope within a unique setting that bridges the gap between the busy city and the quiet countryside. By focusing on themes of burnout and recovery, the drama positions itself as a relatable “healing” story for modern audiences. With its strong leads and engaging premise, it is already being hailed as one of the most anticipated releases of the spring season.
