On March 6, Kakao Entertainment launched the Berriz fan communication platform. This beta version platform will offer global fans a dynamic space to engage with their favorite K-pop artists.

Kakao Entertainment envisions Berriz as a modular platform tailored to meet diverse fan needs, aspiring to become a global playground for fan culture. The official launch is slated for the end of March, with plans to introduce community services for various artists.

It is anticipated that artists from Starship Entertainment and SM Entertainment -both affiliated with Kakao- will transition to Berriz. Musician Jung Seung Hwan already opened his very own Berriz community. This strategic move positions Kakao Entertainment to compete directly with HYBE’s Weverse, potentially reshaping the K-pop fan platform landscape. Berriz is expected to offer fans enriched experiences and closer interactions with their favorite artists by leveraging its extensive artist roster and innovative platform features.
