Film Critic and Journalist Carolyn Hinds spoke to filmmaker Lee Won-sik about his documentary ‘A Song of Korean Factory Girls’ about the young Korean girls and women who were taken to work in the Osaka cotton mills, during the Japanese occupation of Korea. The film screened in the Korean Cinema program of the 2024 Jeonju International Film Festival, South Korea.
